Covanta/EA Public Meeting
A meeting will be held on Thur 21st June at 18.30 in Stewartby Village Hall where the Environment Agency will discuss the pending Covanta scheme. Given pending legal action public questions may not be heard but as many people as possible are encouraged to attend to show support in numbers that we still say NO to this scheme. Please show your support!
Speedwatch
Cllr Tim Hill and volunteers undertook Speedwatch on Stewartby Way from the B530 this week. 308 vehicle movements were taken of which over 20 were doing more that 36mph, one vehicle was doing 56mph! All those over the limit will be receiving a warning letter from the Police.
